Bucks Homestay is a unique pilot initiative designed to support Buckinghamshire’s social care, offering a safe and welcoming environment for those in need.
Building connections and supporting Adult Social Care staff through affordable, flexible housing solutions.
The NHS Homestay Hub is a centralised platform launched in partnership with NHS England and Homestay, offering NHS staff access to affordable accommodation through trusted colleagues. Initially piloted in 2022, it allows staff to rent out spare rooms, or find short-term stays near their workplaces.
This initiative fosters community, supports staff retention, and helps address the housing challenges faced by healthcare workers. With guidance from the National Homestay Forum, the Hub aims to create a route to get newly recruited staff started by offering immediate trusted accommodation.
BCPA in partnership with NHS Homestay is piloting this opportunity for Buckinghamshire care providers and staff requiring short-term accommodation.
A platform designed to provide short-term affordable and flexible accommodation for social care professionals looking to get started in their new Buckinghamshire career.
Address the need for short-term, cost-effective housing solutions while fostering community connections.
